About The Urban Roamer
I’ve lived in the urban jungle almost all my life, so I have come to appreciate the city in all its madness and beauty. I guess my passion for the city, with all its warts and the chaos around it, is that much that I have come to decide that I should share my passion for the city I’ve come to love the best way I know how, through this humble little blog.
It may have the looks and the posts that are typical of a travel blog, but The Urban Roamer’s Journal is more than that. For one thing, it’s one of the few travel blogs (if not the only blog) that deals with urban travel.
To be honest, I kinda hesitate in saying “travel” here because this blog goes beyond the travel aspect. I guess the more appropriate word here would be “journey.” Every entry in this blog is a journey not only of the visual sense, but also a journey in learning and understanding better the urban landscape that we tend to ignore or take for granted.
Whether it’s a high-rise tower or an old residence, a congested highway or a narrow esquinita, each landmark in this metropolis has a story waiting to be told. Thus, this blog aims to document the sights and stories behind these landmarks as a way to bring life and soul to a place considered to be cold and chaotic.
I know there may be other sites out there which basically covers the subjects that I’ll be tackling, but I hope I can bring my own brand of presenting them that I hope you’ll appreciate.
So sit back, relax, and enjoy the ride.

Hello,
I’d like to ask your permission regarding the use of the Xavier House picture. I’ll be including the picture in my thesis regarding Philippine Law on Built Heritage.
Thanks.

i found your blog to be very useful in my current study in Pasig. i am actually doing a tourism development plan and im wondering if i can use your pictures for my tourism campaign video. thank you!
You sir, did a very good job documenting my beloved Pandacan. So I was wondering if I could use most, if not all of the pictures and underlying captions related to Pandacan. I myself am doing a Local History Paper about my native Pandacan, but since the task was given to us just a week before hell week, I was not able to squeeze in a day for this. If you consent, I’ll have you know what grade my prof. would give me along with my thanks. Of course you need not worry that you won’t be cited, that’s a big no-no where I came from.
just give proper citation lang. thanks!
Can I know the name of the author of this journal? I used some statements stated here for our thesis and I have to know the author’s name for proper citation. I hope to have a positive reply
Thanks
